Russell Brand is calling out a courtroom sketch made of him from his recent court appearance in connection with rape and sexual assault charges.
The actor and comedian appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court in London on Tuesday, Jan. 20 via a video link from the U.S., and was granted bail.
The Forgetting Sarah Marshall actor only confirmed his name and date of birth at the six-minute hearing, the BBC reported.
Since then, Brand has taken to social media to comment about his courtroom sketch by a court artist.
"Never mind anything else," he posted on X. "This court sketch is an injustice."

Brand, 50, was charged last month with additional rape and sexual assault offenses involving two women, the Metropolitan Police announced. Those are on top of rape and sexual assault charges filed in April 2025 concerning conduct alleged by four women; the comedian has pleaded not guilty to those charges.

Per the BBC, the new charges are related to alleged incidents in London in 2009, per court documents.
A plea hearing for the two charges is scheduled for Feb. 17, Deadline reported.

"The Met's investigation remains open and detectives ask anyone who has been affected by this case, or anyone who has any information, to come forward and speak with police," said Metropolitan Police Detective Superintendent Andy Furphy in a statement.
Sexual assault allegations against Brand first came to light in September 2023, when five women, one of them a minor, opened up about their alleged experiences in a joint investigation by The Sunday Times, The Times and Channel 4 current affairs show Dispatches.
After the allegations surfaced, Brand took to social media to deny the claims.
"I've received two extremely disturbing letters, or a letter and an email, one from a mainstream media TV company, one from a newspaper, listing a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks," he said in a video on social media. "But amidst this litany of astonishing, rather baroque attacks, are some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute."
