Teen Beach Movie star John DeLuca is engaged to his girlfriend Cassandra.
The 39-year-old actor announced the news on Instagram on Dec. 30 alongside several photos of the proposal, which appeared to be taken at sunset on a beach — complete with wine glasses and a photographer and videographer in tow to capture the perfect moment.
He kicked off his Instagram carousel with a romantic photo of him getting down on one knee as he held Cassandra's hand and proposed on a picturesque seaside landscape in front of sunset. A second photo showed the happy bride-to-be showing off her new engagement ring for the camera, as she held a wine glass in her other hand.
Additional photos showed the couple sharing a sweet hug after the engagement and the pair waving to the cameraman who captured the moment from afar. A final clip showed a cameraman videoing the whole thing and giving a high five to the couple.

"2025 has been the most important year of my life. It brought more twists and turns than I could have ever imagined. It also brought me you, @cassandratm - and for that I'm eternally grateful. I love you so much and I can wait to marry you ❤️," he captioned the Instagram carousel.
He also thanked Massachusetts jeweler company, Lorilil Jewelers for their "guidance" choosing the perfect ring and to his friends Clenét Verdi-Rose and Marko Germar for "their 🥷 skills / helping me capture the moment 📷."
Cassandra commented under the post, "Fiancé 🤍."
She also shared additional photos from the engagement to her own Instagram account, including a sweet moment of the pair with their arms around each other about to share a kiss after the engagement. She also showed snaps of the pair celebrating their joy after she said, "Yes," including popping a bottle of champagne.
In her own post, she shared a closeup of the one-of-a-kind diamond ring, which featured a large oval-shaped diamond on a simple golden band.
She went on to show the pair celebrating the holidays for the first time as an engaged couple. In another photo, the actor could be seen sitting on the lap of his new fiancée as they both smiled at the camera.
Cassandra showed just how excited she was to change her last name as she could be seen in a final photo sporting a "future Mrs. DeLuca" sweatshirt as she once again showed off her engagement ring to the camera.
She didn't caption the post, but her fiancé made sure to show his appreciation, by commenting, "🥹❤️."

Some of the actor's former costars congratulated the actor on the next chapter, including his Teen Beach Movie costar Garrett Clayton, who wrote, "Ahhhh! Congrats Johnny!!!" Gracie Gillam, who played his sister in the film, also wrote, "Congratulations brother!!"
It is unclear when the pair started dating, but DeLuca went Instagram official with Cassandra just one month before revealing the proposal. He shared a birthday tribute to his partner, noting that she was the "most beautiful human I know - inside and out."
"You're my best friend, and even though you don't like making a big deal about your birthday, you absolutely deserve to be celebrated. Thank you for being born 🥹," he added. "I love you ❤️🎂 @cassandratm."
