One toddler is going viral for his precious smile that resembles an iconic Disney character.

When Allie Darr's son Levi was 7 months old, her husband Jordan Darr, 40, noticed that when he smirked, the little one had an uncanny resemblance to the grumpy yet lovable Disney character Carl Fredricksen from the 2009 film Up.

"He calls it the Carl Junior grin," the 39-year-old mom tells PEOPLE, referring to the adorable wide cheek grin her son often does.

Allie tells PEOPLE that as soon as she noticed the resemblance she couldn't help but laugh.

"I cracked up," she shares. "Carl Fredrickson is one of my favorite characters ever."

The proud mom, who also is a parent to children Lucy, 4, Teddy, 8, Sam. 12, Jude, 13, Luke, 15, and Vincent, 16, recently compiled videos of her youngest son's adorable smile and shared it on social media. The clip has since gone viral, reaching 6.1 million views on TikTok and over 3.1 million likes on Instagram.

"Everyone loves it. I'm shocked how far it's spread," Allie tells PEOPLE.

For the mom of seven, the notoriety and appreciation of her viral video bring a deeper meaning and allow her to do more.

The toddler, who's now 1, was diagnosed with Down syndrome when she was 14 weeks pregnant with him. Allie tells PEOPLE the moment was "extremely scary" because at the time she and her husband didn't know anyone with the genetic condition. Reflecting on her initial worries now, the proud mom says she "can't believe I was ever scared of this life," noting it's "truly beautiful."

"[Levi's] diagnosis has changed us all. We see people differently now in the most beautiful way with more empathy and love," she explains. "Despite having six kids before Levi, I felt like a brand new parent because there were a lot of fears of what life would look like."

"But the reality is raising him is not much different than his siblings. He's actually been our easiest, most chill baby," adds Allie. "With Down syndrome, milestones come a tad slower, which I thought would be hard, [but] it's been so much fun because every member of our family is involved and cheering on every little thing Levi does."

Despite his genetic condition, Allie says Levi is the "happiest soul" and has been since the day he was born.

"He loves everyone he meets, and the feeling is mutual," she tells PEOPLE.

With her son's smirk warming hearts across the country, Allie tells PEOPLE she's happy that her son can bring joy to the world and awareness for Down syndrome. She also shares some of the other people that social media users have compared her son to.

"People commented on who else Levi looks like, [including] Harry Potter and Danny Devito," she said. "[The social media reaction] makes my heart explode."
